CARBONDALE, IL (WSI) – SIU women’s basketball is on hiatus after one of its players tests positive for COVID-19.
These steps mean the team doesn’t have enough players to play in Sunday’s scheduled game with Memphis.
The Salukis will be on a 7-day hiatus before retesting can take place, and they will also cancel their performance at the Compass Challenge next weekend, hosted by Eastern Illinois.
