The most famous free agent of the year has found a new device. Callaway Golf announced Monday that Jon Rahm has signed a multi-year endorsement agreement with the company.
The No.. of the world. 2 players will play a full bag of Callaway clubs, including a prototype driver and irons, plus the Chrome Soft X golf ball, Odyssey putter and Travis Mathew clothing as part of the deal.
« I have confidence in my new Callaway clubs – and the golf ball in particular, which really impressed me during the testing process, » Rahm said in a statement.
According to Callaway, Rahm recently set a course record of 59 at the Silverleaf Country Club, his home course in Scottsdale, Arizona. He plans to start his first PGA tour this week with his new clubs at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
Rahm, who has played TaylorMade gear since his pro career in 2016, joins the No.. 1 at. 8 Xander Schauffele and Phil Mickelson are notable Callaway Golf employees.
