Next summer’s European Championship could be held in a single country, as UEFA realizes plans to host the tournament across Europe may prove too difficult
Euro 2020 was supposed to be held from June 12 to July 12, but had to be postponed for a year as the coronavirus swept the world
He put on hold the ambition, previously led by Michel Platini, to organize the tournament in 12 European cities

St. Petersburg, Russia’s second largest city, was one of 12 cities initially selected for this summer’s tournament

The nine other European cities selected were Bilbao, Dublin, Copenhagen, Munich, Rome, Amsterdam, Bucharest, Budapest and Baku
