TORONTO –
An Ontario police officer was seriously injured in an « incident » near Lindsay, Ont. Thursday morning.
Investigators have not released any further details about what happened, but OPP Commissioner Thomas Carrique said in a tweet that a suspect has been arrested. He stressed that there were no other public safety concerns.
Pigeon Lake Road between Heights Road and Settlers Road in Kawartha Lakes is closed due to a police investigation.
