The last time we drove on the outside track was on Melbourne Cup day when the track failed 4 meters and drove fair.
Gulf of Suez – Todd Pannell who drives for Ciaron Maher & David Eustace was a dominant winner in the last start and will be hard to beat again.
Alleboom, trained by Richard and Chantelle Jolly with the benefit of claiming Caitlin Jones, seems well suited here.
African Awesome for some value here, trained by Leon Macdonald & Andrew Gluyas, impressive first win. I drove the Dam (Too Cool To Fool) and the further the distance the better!
An even race with few chances so ready to face early favorites Lancaster Sound.
I think Phillip Stokes’ runners both stand good chances, and Four Of A Kind receives the nod from stable master Tommy Stokes on SA Betfair Edge on 1629 SEN SA.
Ciliata, however, was a noticeable run on the last start after slowing its swing at a crucial point in the straight and is one for value.
Issara has a good hit rate, a nice win first and won second before.
Beeokay is in class here and is pulled for an easy run. However, the return to 1100 m can be a query if there are four weeks between runs.
Savatoxl was impressively up front at the last start, but with more pace in the race with other horses like Trip it could fit in with something that is off pace like favorite Too Good Too Hard.
Too Good Too Hard has strong form in higher tier races in Melbourne and the Stokes stable has targeted this race towards potential black guys. Jason Holder rides, and a wide gate might not be a disadvantage as she likes to sit back.
Lakhani Rose is an easy running Mared weighing 54 kg for Kayla Crowther and David Jolly. She will easily be able to run back on the fence and if the pace is right and the field opens up, this is her chance to reach her potential. This could be their breed.
Another jack next. An excellent first run followed with a dominant win over eventual winner Left Hand Man. Did well enough down the straight in Flemington and is 3 out of 3 over that distance and distance. Marked with 54 kg. Will be fine.
I remember you being a smart mare well placed here by Will Clarken and well drawn for a nice run right behind the speed and a sneaky light weight chance. Jake Toeroek will drive at 54. 5 kg
Li’l Hank ran very bravely at the last start with 62 kg and will be suitable when he climbs back to the 1600 m here on the outside lane. Beat one.
Wylie Ol’Coyote is lower in class and higher in distance. Sophie Logan’s claim will help look appropriate for this race.
Cashin ’Chex took a well-deserved first win at the last start. Has a lot of upside potential but may need luck to do your best here.
Tignanello climbs the 1600 m for the first time today after a nice victory on the Murray Bridge. Will go forward and make his own fortune in a race where there isn’t much pace on paper. There is more depth here. space.
Tully’s gold was very impressive in all three races this time around and has the leeway to continue. Drawn for a nice run again with Todd Pannell.
Aten did well at the group company as a three-year-old. The first record is good, the stable has taken off the indicators, one that should be checked.
La Vita next. Jason Holder rides and can get past the wide gate here with a field of eight. Only beaten by 0. 3L from Thompson’s Reward last start. Actual value.
